Producer Notes:

After a three month hiatus, it is SO good to be back with brand new episodes. In fact, there was a moment when I wondered if we would ever present another new episode of UTR.  I am so grateful for the help and support of so many, including dozens of financial backers who were first-responders to our need. I had some time to think, "What type of show should we do for our grand return to the podcast world?" During the show's down time, I listened to several UTR episodes from our archives.  While CCM radio plays a latest single to death, UTR rarely ever plays a repeat song.  So I went through our show's 6-year history and found a bunch of personal favorite songs that only played once and deserve another listen.  Besides these gems, I'm excited to reveal what I hand-picked as the best song of 2014.  Whether you just found out about our ministry or you've been following us from the beginning, I am grateful for each of you who are joining us for this celebration of our on-air return!  (Dave)

This episode made me very happy.  Welcome back to the “airwaves,” Dave.

I’d been resisting it, but in the approximately four minutes it took to play “Mercy” you may have made me a fan of Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.

Dave, I learned of 6 of these artists from UTR and I have bought a total of at least 10 albums from them since then. Even more if you count their relatives, in the case of the Holcombs grin
